This position is responsible for monitoring and controlling the facility operations in the field on a continuous basis, which includes operating the boiler, turbine, and other associated power plant auxiliaries in a safe and efficient manner, compliant with all State and federal regulations, and company policies and procedures.

Additional duties will include performing daily water chemistry testing, preventative maintenance of assigned equipment, heavy equipment operation, housekeeping and other duties as may be needed in order to support facility demands.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a minimum 1 year experience in the industrial sector or military, effective communicator and analytical skills.

Possess an active State of Maine High Pressure Boiler License; State of Maine 3rd class Stationary Steam Engineer License preferred.

Control Room Operator experience a plus.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual looking to advance within the Company to the Control Room Operator position.

The position does have lifting, carrying and climbing.

Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule with overtime and occasional call-ins.
